“This was a beautiful and comfortable hotel in the small village of Agios Germanos, which is very much off the beaten track, but very nicely located for all the activities in the Prespa Lakes area (birdwatching, boating, hiking, etc). There are only a couple of small tavernas in the village, but the food and service was excellent. The village has a couple of stunning Orthodox churches and a restored mill complex, and is nestled in the mountains. There's not much to do in the village itself but strolling around is pleasant, and the rural atmosphere is lovely. Our room was enormous, with a stone fireplace and beautiful view. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was homemade and quite substantial. Very good value for money.”
“The hotel is in a restored building located close to the square of the village and has a nice garden in front where to have breakfast or a tea in the afternoon. The young hostess was nice and fluent in english. Good abundant breakfast. Large room, good wi-fi.”
