“Nice and friendly family run hotel with people that want to make sure that you have a good and relaxed time ; the views to the port and main city are great and sunset views magnificent. They drove us from/to the port which was very convenient as the hotel rests on a hill. Walking distance to main village (5') and beaches (10-15') so no need for a bike/car if you dont have issues with a bit of walking”
“Michael, the master chef and owner along with his family, were truly outstanding. They were friendly, outgoing, excellent hosts and completely accommodating. Michael is an outstanding chef who provided such excellent meals that we were never tempted to look anywhere else for our meals. He was passionate, energetic and a delight to be around. For a small village on Iraklia the meals Michael prepared far exceeded our expectations. Michael prepared the most consistently good food of our entire 33 day trip through the small Cyclades and Santorini. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the harbor and the western side of the island. It is a moderate walk down to the beach which can be tedious should one walk back uphill during the heat of the day. The beach to the east of Aiolos is an excellent sandy expanse with few rocks near the shore. I would definitely return for an extended stay at Aiolos.”
“Beautiful 180 degrees view of the port and the sea from uphill. Staff was great. Food was very good with many options.”
“Comfortable rooms with breathtaking views from the terrace, friendly owner who is also an excellent chef, the restaurant evening meals and breakfast were delicious and reasonably priced. Walking distance to beach and port. Michael kindly allowed us a very late check out so that we could leave our luggage, enjoy the last day in Iraklia and have a shower before arranging for his driver to drop us at the port for our 9pm ferry departure. Much appreciated! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel. We hope to return some day.”
“Michael met us at the port on arrival; it was a lovely stress free transfer to our accommodation. Room had everything that you could wish for. The beds were very comfortable, lots of clean linen and towels. Lovely bathroom with great shower and lots of hot water. Fridge in room was a real bonus, especially as bottle of cold water had been left for us. The view from the hotel itself was magnificent, from first thing in the morning to watching the sunset in the evening. It was a convenient location for both the harbour and Livadi beach. This all made for a wonderful holiday and if we return to Iraklia we'll head for this hotel.”
“The hotel commands a fantastic view of the harbour & the rising/setting sun. Michael was a kind, generous & cheerful host, making us feel very welcome. We had booked dinner, bed & breakfast - all of which were excellent. We experienced Greek cuisine & hospitality at its best. Well recommended :)”
“The owner is very friendly Excellent views Very good price The restaurant of the hotel is good”
“Absolutely *glorious* stay! The family running the hotel are extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. The views were spectacular, rooms beautiful and clean, the food was the best we had in Greece. The island itself was our favourite of the eleven we visited- people very friendly, views, beaches, sunsets all idyllic. We recommend Livadi beach, the restaurant overlooking the town beach and 'Surfin Bird' bar on the way to Livadi beach. Location could not have been better- everywhere is a short walk. We definitely want to come back as soon as possible!”
“Everything, excellent owner, views, location, breakfast and location.”
“Excellent stuff, friendly, polite and willing to help in our exploration of the island”
