“Start with an excellent downtown location. Add a heritage building's charm. Remodel to have snazzy decorations, sufficient electrical outlets, and excellent wifi. Add some convivial touches from this property's past as a hostel: a communal kitchen for meals in, a rooftop patio for visiting with other guests, bunk beds for a third guest. Top it off with friendly and helpful staff. Serve for a moderate price. An excellent place to stay in Nelson.”

“I WAS AT THE FRONT SIDE OF THE HOTEL. THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AND VERY CLEAN AND THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL.... BUT THE STREET NOISE WAS QUITE BAD AT NIGHT AND THE TRAFFIC NOISE STARTED VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING. THERE IS A LATE NIGHT BAR (FINLEYS) ACROSS THE STREET AND WAS VERY NOISY EVERY NIGHT BUT WORSE ON THE WEEKENDS. YOU MAY WANT TO REQUEST THE BACK SIDE OFTHE HOTEL IF YOU REQUIRE LOTS OF SLEEP.”
