Although it was a little chilly to use the pool, we made good use of the spa pool, and were impressed that this and the sauna were available free of charge. The restaurant is great, serving delicious, good value meals. We ate there both nights of our stay. It was lovely being able to get coffee from the restaurant during the day, also, and the waiter was kind enough to put it on a tray so we could take it back to our room and have it at the table on our little patio. The bathroom was small, but this enabled more room in the bedroom, which felt very spacious with the large sofa. The staff were helpful, including the very pleasant dining and cleaning staff. We loved Tihany, and really enjoyed the time we spent in the Abbey, where there are excellent displays as well as the tomb of King Andrew, buried in 1060, in the crypt.”

“We got a room on the ground floor and it opened out on a small terrace with chairs, table and lounge chair. It was protected for privacy with large green bush. Our two cats travelled with us and they liked the room, too as the doors looking out were glass and they could see outside, plus a local cat came by to say hi :)”
