“Ace Hotel is a cool, hipster place. This particular Ace was once a YMCA, and they made good use of the old gym as a social place. There were couple of ping pong tables as well as a bean toss game. And, several picnic type tables where guests can sit. The bar is quite nice as well. However, the best thing about the stay was that we bumped into Jim Jarmusch, our favourite film maker, who was also staying at the hotel.”
“This property is amazing. The location is up and coming quickly with lots of new stuff within walking distance. The facility is so cool. From the old gym as a common area with ping pong, basketball hoop and photo booth to the restaurant and bar. It’s just dope. The whole place. The rooms? Amazing. Can’t find one thing wrong. Didn’t even want to go anywhere else because you have all you need right at the hotel. Can’t wait to come back!”
“This is a hipster hotel by and for hipsters. If you are most comfortable having a guy with a watchcap and jeans taking your bag at the front door (without telling you he is the 'bellman', works at the hotel, or that you are 'Welcome to the Ace')--you will love the Ace vibe.”
“What a fabulous property! The architecture is amazing, the hotel is so intricately thought out, every detail is attended to with great care and creativity. We loved our stay!!!”
“Loved the vibe of the entire place. From the Valet to the front desk to the bartenders. It was just fantastic. I would stay there again in a minute.”
“Cool a d hip. Well appointed with loads of charm and great views”
“The location is perfect. I was thrilled when I heard Ace Hotel opened a location in East Liberty, which is a great Pittsburgh neighborhood. There are quite a few good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the hotel, and East Liberty is a great starting point to explore other Pittsburgh neighborhoods by car. Our room also had a wonderful view of East Liberty and the Cathedral of Learning off in the distance, the Southern exposure light was great and the bed was quite comfortable. In fact, the room was generally comfortable and bigger than we expected (we booked a large room though). The lobby was also well appointed; stylish and cozy and the atmosphere was lively. So lively that you feel like you're going out for the night even if you just go downstairs for a drink. I also really liked the cafe (with Stumptown coffee) right in the lobby.”
“No breakfast, but the staffs there are warm and sincere.”
“Great location, lots of cool restaurants nearby. Staff were great, very friendly. We loved Pittsburg💕”
“The property and all of the people that worked are so unique and full of character There is a beer tour that leaves right from the hotel and the sausages were amazing”
