“The owner was very gracious and kind, as was Isa, his staff. The room was lovely and comfortable, with fluffy duvets in closets for cooler evenings. The bathroom was lovely, and there was a place to hang clothes and towels to dry in the bathroom. There are two helpful signs right on Camino for getting there, although we were not 100% clear until we saw them how far we were away. Basically, keep going past Padron and Iria Flavia, and then through the village of Porta dos Marinos. After the first sign on the Camino, continue to a "T" where the Camino goes left, but there is a sign showing to go right. Cafeteria-Restaurant Pardal will be right there on N-550, where breakfast can be gotten. Cross the N-550 and continue up behind the gas station, and there you are. If you have Google translate on your iPhone, the owner will help you understand what's for dinner better - dinner was a feast.”
“Louis and Isabel were the best. They had our bags in our room before we arrived. They went excellent, even calling Santiago (our next stay) to make sure everything would be okay. If you have a chance (walking the Camino Portuguese), this is perhaps the best place you will ever stay”

“A Welcome rest on the Portuguese Camino a few kilometers past Padron. Proprietors "Izzy' and her husband were delightful and made us a delicious dinner. Felt like welcome guests in their beautiful home. A lovely old stone building with modern updates. Just off the trail with several restaurants close by if you choose to eat out.”
