The station of the Gornergrat Mountain Railway is right next to the train station.<br><br>Please note that the hotel can only be reached by railway. “AMAZING STAY at this hotel. Very lucky we were given Dent Blanche room so we could take night photography on the balcony. The hotel offers free stargazing tour and we loved it. Breakfast and dinner were tasty, friendly restaurant staff. Room was beautiful, spacey and clean. Last but not least thanks to Katharina who was very kind and helpful during our stay. Overall we wish that we've stayed longer there.”

“Very difficult to book while we were lucky. We could see the Matterhorn through our window and which even better than from the highest point. Service is all good , and the reception young man is handsome and tall, restaurant service is also satisfactory although the food was not extending but good. It depends on your fortune whether the sunset and sunrise as well as the star sky could appear, vas the weather in Matterhorn is so variable. Anyway, stay for one night is a good experience. Recommended!”
“It is just perfect with its perfect location and the best breakfast and dinner I ever had at Switzerland during my trip, nothing to complain at all. The hotel arranged special Astrology program for the guests in the evening and at night which made it a plus point. The hotel staff was very friendly and they showed us to our room and explained every single detail of it to ensure we have a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“1. The reason I chose 3100 was I wanted to take photo of stars and sun rise with the background of Matterhorn. Although the weather was not good, mostly very cloudy and foggy during the time I stayed here, I caught the most beautiful moment - I didnt sleep thoughtout the night. It's the most really really amazing , wonderful view that I have ever seen before. 2. The omelette of the breakfast was tailor-made, we can choose the cooking methods and ingredients. It's perfect and gave me a feeling of home. The dinner included 3 courses which were the most delicious one in my trip. 3. Staff were very nice and friendly - especially the lady at the reception and the sweet girl in the restaurant. You made me warm and the journey at Gornergrat became perfect. 4. My room was clean and comfortable with a kettle. It's facing Pollux - every mountain are unique and attractive although Matterhorn are the best. The shower with a strong water supply. 6. Enough wall sockets in the room”
