“A beautifully designed hotel in a quiet area, outside the city centre of Hamburg. Next to a nice park, where you can take a walk. If you are interested in architecture, then this is also an interesting area. On the site of IBA-Hamburg, with experimental living blocks. We booked a comfort room, which was very spacious. Very quiet also. In the area are no restaurants, but the hotel itself has a very good resaurant. Breakfast is also served here. Buffet style and very good. Not included in the price though... The s-bahn is a 500 m walk away. Appr. 15 minutes to reach the Hauptbahnhof.”

“Beds have extra long sheets – what a rare delight! Each room is named after a tree and decorated accordingly – nice. Windows have fly screens – useful if you like them open all night. Upon arrival, a free bottle of water is waiting on the table – very considerate.”

“This is by far the best German hotel, that I have stayed in. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfy and the restaurant offers very good food and wine. The hotel also contains a wildlife exposition, emphasizing the importance of eco friendly solutions. The theme is applied to the whole design as well, as the rooms have individual themes and decorations. I honestly cannot think of a single negative point. Congratulations to the administration!”
“Had a great stay at this hotel. Nice rooms and good breakfast. Locationwise it is outside of the city center but you can get there within 10 minutes by taking an S-Bahn from the nearby station. So not an issue at all.”
