“Via Booking.com this was a real budget gem. Hotel is more a motel, on the outskirts of Foix, so needs a car to go into the town. The night I stayed, the on-site restaurant was closed, but Foix has plenty of alternatives. Hotel was comfortable and all basic requirements were to be found. Optional breakfast is a buffet, with plenty of choice.”

“We stayed one night in a ground floor room at the back. It was very quiet. The room appeared to be very recently renovated and was very nicely done. The bathroom was immaculate. Bed and bedding was comfortable and very clean. Wifi worked quite well once you figured out the right one as there was some confusion over which we were to connect to. The lighting was excellent and there were several power points and all in very good positions. There is a very nice picnic area with a small lake behind the hotel about a five minute walk but it is unsuitable for swimming, very nice for families and children can feed the ducks. Do not be put off by the old fashioned style of the hotel with it's long shared verandah, it was really quite good. You need a car as it is a bit out from the town. Our room was No.25.”
