“Orchis gave me the feeling I missed for a very long time: being a guest (not a tourist)! If you like lovely historical places with friendly and helpful staff around you, then Orchis. The building is an old soap factory which is very decent and tastefully renovated. For me, details matter. And the interior here is picturesque. Furthermore Orchis is placed directly at the coast and in the centre of Ayvalık. I tried the inhouse breakfast and had suffer as well. Both were delicious and lovely prepared. Please be aware, that Ayvalık is a very old place, don't expect parking places around the butik hotels. But there is a Migros supermarket nearby where you can leave your car. It is a 10-second-walk away tbh. And if you need anything or have any questions, remember the name "Caner". A smart guy and a good laugh, helps out wherever needed! Enjoy! :)”
