“A very friendly and accommodating family run hotel. The room was lovely and clean and we made use of the balcony quite a lot. The bed was comfy and the air con was a wonderful bonus. The pool was really nice and helped to cool off in the scorching afternoon heat. The drinks/food at the bar were great. Sissi is beautiful and picturesque. It has great bars and restaurants to suit all.”

“The superior rooms are beautifully decorated and a lovely size! We were the second people to stay in the newly renovated room and it was spotless, we couldn't fault it! I would definitely recommend Maria hotel- Yannis and Sofia were great hosts and made you feel welcome and would do anything for you! It's also a beautiful area with the harbour, tavernas and shops all in walking distance. 10/10 we would definitely recommend it and can't wait to return later on in the year!”

“Nice and helpful staff (the family running the hotel). Yannis is very friendly, sits down and talk to you, plays jokes, gives recommendations etc. Sofia does a good job at the pool bar, serving nice food and drinks with a smile. Clean and comfortable rooms. Plenty of available sunbeds, an adequate sized pool and a pool-bar fulfilling most of your needs at fair prices. Free AC and safety box (wi-fi unknown as we used mobile data). Small kitchen facilities (fridge, plates, cups, boiler etc.) - we used it for our breakfeast as we didn't find the hotel's breakfast menus too inspiring compared to the price.”

“this hotel is well located within Sissi, under a five minute walk to the harbour. the staff are always on hand to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible, the room was cleaned everyday with bespoke add-ons like the bed was made in a different format every time. the food from the bar was fantastic and both food and drink where well priced. the staff welcomed me to try some of the more local cuisine as they where having meals. the bar did not close until everybody had had enough, and yet the hotel was still quiet.”
