Very well restored and maintained Manoir in the heart of Normandy, close to many historical landmarks (D-Day beaches and memorials; Bayeux; Caen; Mont Saint Michel; etc). The owner is very friendly and Iain is a great cook! It is such a pleasure to stay in the evening for the dinner made with the fresh produce from the garden.”

“Iain, the chef and co-owner is probably one of the best chef's I've had the pleasure of dining with. We had intended to eat dinner in some of the nearby towns but after the first dinner we were hooked and ate at the Manoire every night. Food was great, wonderful fresh fruit and pastries and eggs if you wanted them for breakfast, dinners that included great appetizers, seafood, meats and wonderful vegetable all prepared masterfully. A great place to stay and only about 450 years old!!”
