“Absolutely stunning and unique location within a fortified Louis XIV citadel overlooking the Gironde estuary. Gaining access to both citadel and the hotel within an experience not to be missed. Facilities were good and being able to explore the fortress as you are in it is brilliant. Also directly outside is the village with a ferry to explore the other side of the estuary. All in all a most memorable visit.”
