“The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, linen was fresh and clean and the bathroom was newly refurbished, hot water was plentiful. The pool was big enough to have a proper swim and the pool area was very well maintained.”

“Easy to find. secure car park at 10 euro / day. Could have parked over road on car park for free. Pool view room was great. other car park room OK. Restaurant breakfast just the job and reasonably prices, went simple option - juice, coffee and basket of bread and choc pan, etc. Evening set meal very good but a bit pricey on our budget. Pool and Jacuzzi lovely temp and nice setting. Beach just over road. not best beach on the island due to port to left but meant its not to busy and great for sun down bottle of wine and walk.”

“The room was a bit dated and the whole place was a little worn and tired having to pay gor secure parking which was on site but completely empty is mean - it would have been no trouble at all to let us park there without chsrging us for it as we were the only guests staying at the hotel”

“Great location, just across from the beach. Restaurant was very good, with a great choice and excellent food. Staff in both hotel and restaurant were very helpful - even with our limited French. Room was pleasant and clean and we had a lovely view to the pool. Getting around was easy. Transfers from and to local airport were quick and inexpensive. Easy walking distance to shops and cafes and to bus stops for La Rochelle and within the island.”
