“The place was very quiet and the hotel staff was very friendly. It was a challenge for me as I speak English and the staff did not but we managed to work through it without either of us losing patience. There is a restaurant within walking distance and plenty of trails to walk on. Was within a 20 min drive to Traumland, which is why we stayed there. I do not feel like the photos on booking.com did the place justice as it was very clean and the rooms were pretty.”

“Located just a few kilometers from Gönningen, this reasonably priced hotel was a real find for me. Other options were more pricey and located further away. Very good Frühstück. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We were able to communicate adequately in spite of our mutual language shortcomings. Clientele appeared to be working folk spending a night on the road; nice local flavor. My single room was small but adequate, as might be expected. No breathtaking views, just a quiet peaceful locale, easy to find, right off the local road.”
