“Room a good size and air-conditioned. Staff friendly and helpful, and the receptionist spoke good English. Dinner in the hotel was good quality, if not cheap, and a useful facility as there were no other restaurants nearby. Kettle and tea/coffee provided. Clean room with a very nice shower unit. Plenty of food for breakfast, the usual bread and croissants, but also facilities to make your own muesli, and fresh fruit, which was very welcome.”
“I wanted a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel with on-site parking as a stopover. This hotel met all my criteria. My Good rating for location reflects its convenience with a very minor detour off my route through France, not scenic attraction - my bedroom window overlooked a lorry park! Rooms had excellent acoustic insulation and there was no disturbance from inside or outside the hotel. I ate in the hotel restaurant (dinner and self-service breakfast). Timing for dinner had to be early (but that suited me) as a large party were coming in later. So it may be wise to pre-book a table for dinner in case you arrive late feeling too tired to seek out an alternative place to eat. I'd be happy to stay here again. Just over 4 hours' driving from Cherbourg.”
“Very nice welcome. Spectacularly clean with exceptional linen. Isabelle on reception was very good and spoke good English and also coped with our French language effort. The hotel is well placed in one of the shopping areas with a big and smaller supermarkets and assorted chain stores and plenty of food options”
