What guests loved the most

“The warm and immensely helpful staff as well as the lovely location really made this a wonderful stay for me.”

, Poland

“Situated in a parkland setting (alongside a 1st WW front line (German and French positions still visible) in a totally destroyed village, since rebuilt. Argonnes are great for walks and we have done this. Been here before and the welcome is great.”

, United Kingdom

“Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.”

, United Kingdom

, United Kingdom

“Quiet, clean, good shower and comfortable bed, all you need when travelling.”

, United Kingdom

“Hotel was in a lovely setting, very comfy with an excellent restaurant, bit of a drive from the motorway but worth it.”

, United Kingdom

“Robert, the hotelier, was friendly and tried to be helpful regarding places to see for WW1. The town was just a collection of houses and very quiet (though this may have been because it was Sunday). The restaurant food was well cooked and tasty but quite expensive and quite small serves. Hotel itself was clean. There is a smallish, indoor pool and plenty of walking tracks around the hotel. Generally a nice hotel but I doubt I'd stay there again.”

, Australia

“Wifi was less than expected but overall execellent.”

, United Kingdom

“Very helpful staff, always friendly and flexible. The food at the restaurant was good but not outstanding.”

, Belgium

“Very nice setting. Good location for a one night stop on the way back to Calais. Food was very good.”
