What guests loved the most

“Calm. Rural location. Good value. Good wine. Rustic food”

, Switzerland

“The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and they went the extra half mile to make sure that my dietry requirements were met (I am gluten and dairy free). We made a last minute booking, as we were travelling from Switzerland through to UK, what a little gem we found!!”

, United Kingdom

“Charming hillside location, albeit very remote with an adventurous drive up the steep and winding approach road. Staff very welcoming and pleasant. Spacious family suite with balcony offering views of woodland across the valley. Would stay again.”

, United Kingdom

“The location is fantastic - up in the mountains. The property is clean, the restaurant is very good.”

, Belgium

“Perfect little hotel, run by a very nice family in beautiful environment. Food in the restaurant was brilliant and so was the wine and the coffee! We liked it so much that we stayed another night and we'll definitely come again!”

, France

“Owners were very friendly and helpful. Great fondue and fresh baguettes at the hotel restaurant. Good local Alsace wine.”

, Germany

“Very nice owners and very helpful. Extremely good if you travel with small children. Simple but excellent breakfast and sweet attention. A very good and enjoyable place to stay.”

, Belgium

“The food on their restaurant is very good and staff is very nice and friendly.”

, France

“We loved this gem of hotel in the Vosges mountains. The owners are lovely and very welcoming and you can really feel their passion in the atmosphere of the Domaine, both hotel and the restaurant. The room was comfortable and sweet and we had access to a small garden, which our dog loved. In general, the place is very dog friendly (both hotel and restaurant). The chef of the Domaine is as great and the food was excellent! Many options for hiking/biking tours in the region. We highly recommend this hotel and wait to come back.”

, Netherlands

“A beautiful, charming hotel located on top of the mountain in a magnificent setting. The lovely lady who I met first, who I believe is the owner, was all smile, helpful and accommodating. I asked for rooms with a terrace and we were given two extra large rooms at no additional cost on the second floor. The staff were wonderful. The restaurant was so beautiful, dinner was great. A jug of steaming hot milk on the breakfast table, wow, this is a first for me. Having said that, I suggest to the owner that a few slice of cheese, and may be a poached egg on the breakfast table serves this place better. The pond, the goats, the ducks, on and on and on. I wish I could pamper myself at this place for a couple of weeks. Thank you to my host.”
