“I had fond memories of staying here years ago and so booked it again. Very welcoming, friendly proprietor and very attractive old building, artistically decorated inside. I stayed in two different rooms; the first was fine though not stunning, the second was larger and very nice. A lovely touch is a little shelf of books (in French and English) in the rooms (at least in mine). Breakfast fairly standard French (no fresh fruit, for instance) but good quality, and a big jug of coffee was very welcome.”
“This is a lovely hotel in a great location. It is next to everything in Avignon but as it in a side road it is very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is opposite a lovely park and there are some great restaurants very nearby. Hôtel Le Colbert is a different and individual hotel and provides very comfortable, clean and pleasant surroundings. Our room was lovely, very quiet and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely and good value. Perfect place to stay in Avignon.”

“wonderful location that is out of the bustle of the tourist sites but easy walking distance to all. Easy walk from the train station. Nice square with restaurants around the corner with a more relaxed atmosphere than ones closer to the palace. Our host Patrice was very welcoming, accommodating. Room was very quiet comfortable. We opted for one of the attic rooms which had its own cozy charm with skylights (no windows) low ceilings. Ok for us as we didn't spend lots of our day there. There is a sitting room and small garden in the main floor which looked like a great place to relax”
