“Maybe 7/8 minutes walk from the grotto. A nice comfortable hotel. I didn’t eat in the hotel but there’s any amount of restaurants nearby. A ten minute walk to the top of the town. Bus no 5 can be got outside the Mercure Hotel to train station for €1.20 & to airport from train station for €2”

“We reserved a room at the Hotel Helgon about 10AM for the same day after deciding to depart an unsatisfactory B&B (not procured through Booking.Com). We arrived at the Hotel Helgon shortly after 11AM solely to determine if parking was available and what time the room might be available (check-in normally is at 2PM). To our pleasant surprise, Emily took care of everything, parking and the room, and we were in our room by 11:30AM. Emily provided additional information for the area and a lunch recommendation (L'Alexandra). Another desk clerk named Audrey was also very kind and helpful...both of the ladies are clearly valuable to Hotel operations, and considerate of guest desires.”

“We booked a double room but we've been provided with a triple room which is why we had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. I like the cleanliness of the hotel in general as well as the friendliness of the staff. We were granted early check in and late check out free of charge. It's less than 5 minute walk to the Sanctuary with lots of restaurants around. I'm taking my whole family to Lourdes next year and I'll definitely book our stay in this hotel.”
