“Wonderful welcome and a glass of cider from the owner. We were given a brand new updated room as it was right by the car park and easy to access, we had a lot of luggage!! Everything brand spanking new and clean as a whistle. The only slight negative is that they have not really put enough power points in the room but this is only a small detail.”
“Excellent small no frills hotel ideally positioned near rail and bus station but 10 mins walk from city centre. Delicious ample breakfast served in pretty modern dining room.”
“A good location and the secure onsite parking was much appreciated.Very helpful staff and a very good breakfast.”
“Staff outstandingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast superb. Room, bed and shower all good.”
“Location is superb, just in an opposite side of gare station.Coffeemaker at the room.Helpful staff, they allowed me to leave some bags until the evening.”
“Good hotel with rooms separated from the main hotel.Staff were friendly and helpful.Easy walk to the festival main events.”
“The location is great: the hotel is right next to the train station. However NONE of the rooms faces the noisy street.”
“Hôtel de la Gare Citotel is an economy motel that sits just across Quimper train station (Gare de Quimper) and right next to Hotel Mercure Quimper Center. For train-travelers the location is convenient, as the city center is only about 1Km away. The hotel is reasonably clean, and the reception lady was friendly and helpful. This was one of the cheapest hotels we've ever stayed in France, and for the price it's hard to complain about the bare-bones room and amenities.”
“Located a short walk from the centre of town where there are numerous Restaurants and Bars. The limited Car Parking on site was good and within a gated area with electronic coded locking”
“The breakfast was good and extremely generous, and the staff were very pleasant indeed. The hotel was wonderfully convenient for the station. However, common with most towns and cities, the area around the station was rather run down and a little bit rough. We did have to contend with several beggars each day.”
