“The room had what we needed: private bathroom and two twin beds. The hotel is located just across from a castle/old historic fort in a quiet area of town. Walking to the Sanctuary of Lourdes (about 10-15 minutes) is all downhill, but the way up is mostly uphill. We were prepared for this so it did not surprise us and it was nice to walk so much. Breakfasts were rather basic (some fresh fruit would have been nice, but the €7 price was very good). Despite a big language barrier (we speak online English and Spanish), our hosts were truly warm, welcoming and did everything they could to communicate with us and understand why we needed. Thank you for everything!”

“The main reason I go to Lourdes is to visit the fortress in this gorgeous valley, and Mirambel is literally right across the street. The room is basic but has been refurbished nicely, and there is even a small elevator that goes to the upper floors. The hosts are friendly and as helpful as they can be to someone like me who does not speak French.”
