“Staff were very pleasant and efficient. The room was excellent, very comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom was large and spacious with a bath and separate shower, complete with dressing-gowns. Water was piping hot. We booked a room with a terrace as we were travelling with two dogs. Having the terrace and garden was ideal and there was no problem with the dogs, even though one of them is a 50 kilo Maremma sheepdog. The property is very close to the motorway, which makes it a good stopping-off point on a long journey. It's situated on a very busy road, but we were able to walk the dogs on little country lanes nearby. Once the door and windows were closed there was no noise from the road at all. There's nowhere to eat in the immediate area. We didn't eat at the property so can't comment on the food. Other guests considered the food to be excellent. The prices are not cheap though - feeding a family here would be very expensive.”
