“The hotel was pretty much as we expected. Friendly staff, comfortable spacious room and furnished in a blend of period furniture with modern finishes that only the scandinavians seem to do well. Breakfast had a comprehensive range of ingredients to suit most tastes and several european nationalities. Recommendations for local restaurants within 300m of the hotel were good as were the restaurants themselves so the lack of evening meal facilities at the hotel was not a problem at this time of year (mid August).”
