Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the Rhine. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and would love to return here one day, it made a lovely start to our holiday.”

The room was decorated and furnished to a high standard and the food at the restaurant was delicious, I can recommend the whole trout. The staff made the stay wonderful with great service and a real interest in their guests. Spacious free carpark outside for guests. Lots to do round about too with a chailift from the village to the castle hotel at the top, a short walk to a monument with amazing views over the Rhine.”

“The couple that run this hotel are very friendly, welcoming and have great local knowledge and information. The location on the Rhine is lovely, the terrace is really pretty and the views from the room are amazing. The breakfast was very nice and the service from all the staff was excellent. The onsite parking is very convenient, secure and easily accessible. The hotel is in a very convenient location for access to the boat services, vineyard walks and other activities. We highly recommend doing the round trip, which can be purchased at the the ferry terminal nearby and includes a chairlift up to a walk in the forest, cable car down and ferry back - leaving from Assmannshousen (very close to the hotel). A wonderful outing. We much preferred this location to neighbouring, very touristy, Rudisheim.”

“Food is very nice. Schnitzel is fresh from pan and superb! My kids also love it. The place is much less busier than central Ruedesheim though it is close to train station and convenient. Boarding point of KD Line at Assmannshausen is just two minutes walk.”
