- Please note the hotel is located on an island. Boats leave on a daily basis to Barú at 8:30 hs., and return to Cartagena at 15:30, depending on the weather. Transport fees are not included in the rates and should be arranged separately with the hotel in advance. Boats leave from Manga neighbourhood in Cartagena, at Marina de Santa Cruz Harbor. The hotel warns guests arriving by all-terrain vehicles that the road is bumpy and deteriorated. The property reserves the right to transport pregnant women on board.<br>Please note that food and beverages cannot be brought into the property.<br>Please note transportation from the dock has an additional surcharge of COP 60.000 each way.<br>The property is located in Ensenada de Cholon area, popular during high season, therefore guests may experience noise from boats passing by with music.<p>Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. “The free trip that the hotel includes to the agua azul beach made this an excellent trip as it is a beautiful and secluded beach. We felt no need to go to the Playa Blanca that everyone talks about. Great food also and excellent service feels very secluded and relaxing as it’s such a small place. Plenty to do such a small kayaks ping pong and loads of sunbed options”

“Until you bring a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old you don't realize how kid friendly this place is. Calm shores and shallow beach with soft white sand for kids to play with. Staff that are very attentive, helpful and cheerful is a bonus when dealing with little ones. The AC rooms were perfect for a break from the heat for our infant.”

“Friendly, helpful staff, great location on sheltered lagoon surrounded by mangroves. Comfy beds, superior rooms a bit more spacious and with nicer views. Air conditoned and fans in all rooms, restaurant and bar in open air. Restaurant does OK food at reasonable prices. Trips to Rosario islands (snorkelling on reef or visit aquarium) leave (extra charge) just after you arrive at 10:30 and before check in 15:00 so be ready to hop on another boat when you arrive otherwise you can sit around and wait for lunch... Kayaks were nice to bob about in on the lagoon and watch sunset.”
