To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). “Location is fabulous--just outside the entrance to the Torres del Paine National Park. Great view of the massif from the lobby and dining room, and many bedrooms in the hotel as well. Although food and drink is expensive, we realized that everything must be trucked in from 3-5 hours away, on dirt roads, so we didn't feel it was unreasonable in the end. Staff were very friendly and helpful and generally spoke great English as well.”

“The Outdoors team make this place. The office staff were great in explaining the different treks they offer and tailoring our trip. During each trek the guides would patiently explain many different things and looked after the sometime variable abilities of the group. Hotel facilities were fine and there is a spa coming soon which will be a good addition. Expensive place but the outdoor team made it worth the cost for us.”
