What guests loved the most

“In the hart of Amazonas this charming hotel has hamacas to reax looking a beautifull jungle garden. So nice to go around in Puerto Narino where there are no cars or motorbike (actually no even byke). You can go on a jungle trek take a night safari to see the night creatures including Tarantula, Scorpions, Frogs and snakes. During the day you can take aboat and swim with the dulfins in Tarapoto lake and than indulge in some fishing. Each activity cost about 40,000 pesos 15 euro. And it s supporting the local community trough the local guides who are natives and tells you lot of story about theyr clan (tribe)”

“Welcoming staff, we appreciated the small but helpful extras, such as rubber boots and children life vests available to borrow (for free).”

, France

“friendly staff. simple and basic accom but you must remember you are staying in the middle of the amazon”

, Mexico

“staff friendly and authentic location next to village”

, Belgium

“Staff was very kind. Good facility with basic amenities. Slept very well, which can be hard to do in the Amazon!”

, USA

“The owner and the girl working at the reception were very kind. They gave me a lot of useful information and they book a tour to the Tarapoto lake (dolphins) with a local guide for a very cheap price. They bought the ticket for the fast boat, for me (avoiding to go to the ticket shop at 7 am). The room was very large, with a balcony and two hammacs. The bed was confortable. Moreover I'm a solo traveller and they charge a price per person (and not per room) so the room was very cheap for me.”

, Spain

“Great location. Excellent service. Owner and staff were awesome. Monkeys in the trees at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast and only $8000 pesos( about $3 US). Towels included. Overall fantastic!”

, Canada

“We had a room that was on top of other rooms, overlooking the Main Street. It felt like a summer camp cabin, a balcony and screens on all sides. It was very cozy and comfortable, A fan on the ceiling kept us cool. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

, USA

“Good fan and screens on windows. Good location, not right on main street but short walk.”

, USA

“Staff spoke English, and they helped connect us with local guides for excursions (a bit underwhelming, but cheap - probably better for Spanish speakers who can negotiate longer/more specific treks). No A/C but quite cool at night with the fans (not true during the day though!) Pleasant hammock area in back. 2 minutes from the mirador.”
