“Great attention to details by staff. Perfect off the beaten path place. Great value. Amazing scenery and saw the northern lights from the parking area right outside our room.”

“We spent 2 days in this lovely hotel away from citys and towns. The staff and owner where really welcoming and even brought us things for breakfast also their kitchen was closed (low season). The room was clean and their was a cozy living room to share with one other room.”

“This was a surprise...a good property along the side of the road, not near to anything other than the road! It does have a restaurant, which was good as it would have been another 1/2 hour or so to find another one. The room was clean, ensuite bath worked well, and food was good. Terrific view and lovely sunset!”

“We arrived very late, driving all the way from Akureyri in bad weather conditions. There was no reception, but when we called their phone, a staff was quick to assist us and point out our rooms. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but in this part of Iceland, there are really very limited accommodations available!”
