“The retro '70s look of the hotel was great with beautiful marble pieces. Upon our request, we got a refurbished room. Room was spacious enough and the bathroom too, which is not always the case with most Greek budget hotel bathrooms. There was a balcony too.”
“For the very reasonable price, this is a decent hotel: the staff are helpful and most of the basics are in place. And it's about twenty seconds walk to a couple of great taverna-style restaurants.”
“Friendly and helpful staff, good location, pretty clean”
“the friendliness of staff and the comfort of the room”
“Walking distance to the Park of Heroes , Kostis Palamis house (poet) and the Byron Society”
“It is close to many things, and the staff is quite helpful.”
“Really value for money. Very good location and super friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean room.I would recommend it no doubt.”
“very good renovated rooms on the first floor which you must request . overall very good value for money as there are not much choices in Messolonghi very clean fresh towels and linen and balcony overlooking on the square ..”
“When entering the hotel it seems that you step 100 years back in time which is interesting. We had to book a 3 bed room as the 2 bed rooms were not available and got a nice huge apartment type corner room. The room including the bathroom were refurbished. The hotel is near the bus station and a short walk through shopping streets to the center. The people at the reception were very friendly and helpful and spoke English.”
“This is a very large rural town hotel reminiscent of the 70s, with a very small lift, but wide expansive corridors and communal areas. There is plenty of wood décor, high ceilings and character to this place – surprisingly good overall. There is free roadside parking just outside the front door and a small bar almost opposite – but very little noise, and closed before midnight. We took a ‘family suite’ which was huge, with a balcony stretching around two sides of the apartment. In contrast to the old wooden interior doors, our room had a very new top-quality bathroom worthy of a 4*, and nice/modern décor. The external doors and windows were all new, very solid, and included bug net doors, and sun shutters. Net and sun curtains also a nice touch. Overall, a very clean and comfortable place to stay at very good value. And if you are on the Lord Byron trail… the hotel is smack opposite the Garden of Heroes.”
