“Central location within easy walking distance of Le Bois Plage de Re including shops and restaurants. Short cycle ride to Saint Martin de Re.”
“The food is always good, the staff friendly, restaurant service excellent. I love it there! Beautiful location, sandy beach which is clean, completely laid-back holiday vibe in town.”
“the charming quirkiness of the hotel, the layout of the grounds, the food was excellent but rather expensive, however ile de Re is expensive all over. Would definitely stay there again.”
“Small intimate hotel kept beautifully - fantastic restaurant and tranquil spot near market and beaches”
“It was a beautiful shabby chic haven! Walking distance to the main village square, boulangerie and a beautiful sandy beach. Staff were friendly, dinner was tasty. We didn't have breakfast as its was €13.50 pp per day which I couldn't justify for some pastries and fruit. Bed was comfy, if a little on the small side, but then the room was quite small , we opted for just a standard room though. Shower pressure was good and a decent size. Hair dryer was full sized. No mini fridge or air con, so I was pleased we didn't visit in peak summer, however I did see a desk fan in the wardrobe.”
“Lovely ambience. Well located. Excellent restaurant”
“Friendly staff , central location, pool, restaurant ”
“Well located in striding distance of the beach and only a gentle cycle through the vineyards to St Martin. Great local market and cobbled streets framed with hollyhocks and pastel shutters. Art Trail in May and far fewer visitors - a real contrast to the bustle of high season and holidays. The hotel is a retreat at all times- beautiful wooden terrace reminiscent of a boardwalk through the dunes, lots of shady spaces and comfortable chairs, with the pool area for serious lounging. Breakfast is a relaxed buffet with baskets of crisp croissants, ficelles and gluten free breads and cereals. Superb home made jams, yogurts, boiled eggs, ham and cheese. Coffee and Mariage Freres teas on tap. Eat inside or out under the shade of re-purposed sails. Delicious food- one of the best and most consistent restaurants on the Island.”
“Homemade jams and marmalade. Just one little thing that makes this an exceptional Hotel.”
“So calm. I visited in mid-September, when the temperatures hadn't dropped too low. Sunny and crisp weather, with a great breeze. The hotel is a nice, 15 minute direct walk to the beach, past a park and local homes. The menu is exceptional, and the wine selection was very good. Great deal for the price. And lastly, the staff are warm and accommodating.”
