“Very nice hotel with the spirit of Vienna. There is famous Mozart Haus in neighboring building . This hotel has nothing in common with huge hotel chains. Low ceilings in reception area, big wooden key-rings etc.. Chamber style hotel where everything is pretty much personal; I had old fashioned radio in my room which has been working perfectly. Location is ideal for the tourists. It is just around the corner of Stefan’s Dome, Vienna’s Opera House is 10 minutes away by foot and main shopping streets are just 2 minutes away. Very friendly staff and comfortable stay. This hotel is not about luxury, it is about old friendly home which was exactly there even in 1764!”

“Wonderful Old World charm, from the old fashioned room key left at the front desk, to the friendly porters and the red velvet and dark wood. Charming bar area where guests relaxed with cocktails and newspapers on sticks -- reminded me of a much earlier and more gracious time. My single room was spacious and clean with a walk in closet and a beautiful new marble bath. Bed was perfectly comfortable, room had double windows to block all street noise.”
