“The breakfast was traditional German, meats, cheese, breads, fruit and yogurt. All were excellent. The property was very clean and well kept. When you arrive the picture is what you see. What you don't see is the building in back, it was built in 1992 with large modern well appointed rooms and a garage (this is extra), the town has free parking 2 blocks away which is also given as a parking option. They have a covered Bier Garten as well as a full restaurant, serving authentic local dishes.”
“We always like to find inns that have a good restaurant and rooms. We don't expect much more than cleanliness and a comfortable bed but the Gruner Baum exceeded our expectations. We were just passing through on a somewhat back road trip from Vienna to Berlin. This was not a destination but what a lucky stop!”

“Anders als es die kleine, "überschaubare" Fassade vermuten lässt, gibts es im Hinterhof einen modernen, großzügigen, aber ziemlich verwinkelten Neubau. - Hier sind alle Zimmer enthalten, die einen guten und rustikalen Standard bieten. Sauberkeit ganz ok, modernes Schließsystem mit Chipkarte, kostenloses und schnelles WLAN und recht ruhig.”
