“We loved that this property was set on a lake and that swimming was permitted. The garden was really beautiful. There was no one available to check us in when we arrived other than the waiting staff, so they gave us a free breakfast which was kind. The room was huge! Really comfortable. We had dinner at the property which was pretty good - and breakfast - brekky was excellent - fresh and lots of it. The lady on reception was really kind and helpful. It was more a place for older couples I think, but my daughter (11 years old) loved that she could just jump in the lake and swim about. It was brilliant being able to stay with our dog - so good that there are pet friendly hotels!”
“Very friendly and helpful staff, who all the time was keen that everything was fine . Clean and tidy the rooms. The food was good and reasonably priced , even here very helpful and knowledgeable staff . The surroundings were really nice with walking paths around the lake, but still close to the quaint communities that you could spend time in.”
