“Superb location with a wonderful view over the vines, with the Papal Palace in Avignon, Monte Ventoux and the Dentelles visible in the distance. A beautiful and comfortable chateau, offering excellent food and wine in the restaurant. Good quality continental breakfast. We also bought a few bottles of Chateauneuf du Pape from the vineyard surrounding the Chateau from the shop at the rear of the property before leaving. We broke the journey here returning from Saint Tropez to Paris to avoid the Sunday evening rush hour around Lyon. We'll definitely be back.”

“I was travelling with a group of five longstanding university friends on our 'old winos tour' to celebrate a 50th birthday. Amazingly beautiful location and views, fine romantic castellated Victorian chateau, very welcoming and friendly staff, excellent food and wine, relaxing feel and superb wine. Perfect. Rooms 'shabby chic' rather than 'luxury' but clean and full of character - e.g. shower in turret with lovely tiles and view over vineyards. Beautiful terrace and views for drinks, supper and relaxed breakfast with endless coffee. Definitely a special place to return to (with my wife).”

The castle itself is magnificent, but looking in need of a little TLC. Nothing a few hundred thousand wouldn't solve. The staff were extremely attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.”
