“The owners were lovely and welcoming. We had a bad experience the previous night at another hotel with a noisy guest and this hotel more than made up for it. They upgraded our room free of charge. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower and lovely soft large towels. Very large comfy bed. Parking at the rear of the hotel in a car park with good access to entrance at the back of hotel. Some street parking at front but limited. Very Short walking distance into town. Could not fault it. Will be going back again.”

“Lovely old building converted into a stylish comfortable hotel. Our room was clean with good facilities. The bed was large and we had a good nights sleep.The hotel is in the town so there is some early morning traffic. It is situated on a fairly narrow one way street and parking at the front to drop off baggage is not easy. Better to drive past the hotel and take the first right behind the hotel into a public car park from where there is access into the hotel. This car park is busy and has a 4 hour limit.”

“We loved everything about this hotel. It is stylish and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. It is an old building so it's unsurprising that the odd floorboard squeaks and you can hear some neighbours noise at night, but that is to be expected. The area it is in is quiet, yet close to everything. There is a super little park for dog walking just up the hill a few steps and a Carrefour right on the doorstep. Our dog was very welcome.”
“Very friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, well located in the town and walking distance to the main tourist attractions. Hotel has a lift and offers luggage storage. Also a generous lounge area which was useful in the unseasonal rainy weather, and free hot drinks while you wait out the rain. ”
