“Nice room. Convenient location after our days activities. Dinner was nice - but pricey, but everything is expensive in Iceland! Remember to ask if they do a northern lights wake-up call, we didn’t find out about this until the following morning so missed them!”
“The staff were so unbelievably friendly. My daughters did not want to leave!! They fell in love with 2 staff in particular (Bara and Vena), who played with them, taught them Icelandic and Czech and made them feel so special - the girls wanted to take them home with them in their suitcase! The food at breakfast and dinner was exceptional - the chef is amazing!! They even gave us a complimentary plate of desserts, which was delicious! Before the visit, their receptionist Ana, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give assistance and advice. This hotel is very lucky to have such wonderful, attentive, friendly staff ... even the cleaning ladies were super friendly! Xx”
“Easy to find, excellent parking. Reservation desk just inside lobby, well staffed. Lift to second floor. The rooms are newly renovated and lovely, spacious with lots of room for luggage and seating, TV, desk, coffee/hot water available en suite, many places to plug in to charge devices. Excellent shower and bathroom. Wonderful fire place and sitting area in lobby to warm up and relax with a book (small offering of reading materials) and a beverage. Nice happy hour at small bar. Wonderful and diverse selection for breakfast (included with rate) in a spacious dining area. Excellent meal for dinner. Staff was absolutely amazing - every single person we encountered! Close to Golden Circle area and F550 Kildadalur route.”

“It was a beautiful hotel. Very convenient before heading to Gulfoss the next day. The guy at reception was extra nice and helped with all of our questions. The breakfast was very great with a large variety of food. I really enjoyed it. We stayed at a room far from the reception and the WiFi was excellent.”
“Fosshotels in general were excellent. Hate to say it, but Americans used to being pampered and having large rooms will be happy staying at any Fosshotel.”
