“Everything! Location is just perfect! It is close to all main castles (Amboise, Chenonceau, Saumur, Chaumont, Blois, Villandry). I stayed 5 nights! Decoration of the breakfast saloon, bedrooms, facilities in general are amazingly beautiful! Breakfast is very good with different and good options! Bedroom was comfortable. Madame Violaine, owner of the chatêau, made our stay a very special one with her kindness and willingness to help! Visiting the Loire Valley is a must to stay in a Chatêau, and it will be part of an unforgettable trip! Why stay in a regular hotel if you have the chance to experience a different and special stay, and live the life of a royal from the 19th century? And this one is a very good option! I also enjoyed the interaction with nature! Returning to the Loire, I will stay in this Chatêau again!”

“A beautiful chateau in a lovely spot not too far from the motorway and with excellent restaurants nearby. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are all very individual and beautifully furnished in accordance with the period of the building - some lovely internal features remain despite the conversion to a hotel. A little dip into gracious living!”
“There is no lift (as expected) but no porter was provided to carry our bags to our rooms on the second (double height) floor....this proved very challenging for the less mobile members of our party, and the hotel would be totally unsuitable for someone with mobility problems.”
“Nice room with a garden view on the second floor. Light luggage recommended. Breakfast room is well stocked with fresh fruit, cereal, toast, pastry, hams, cheese and boil your egg yourself apparatus. Choose a less sunny table as it can get a bit too hot. Walk around the park woods was enjoyable, may even spot a deer, a hare or two but definitely will see and hear a resident peacock.”

When we asked for wine upon our arrival the Countess promptly served this to us in the drawing room.
