“Essentially a suite for the price of a bedroom in a VERY atmospheric hotel in a great part of Montmatre. Large bedroom, full bathroom and small salon with fully stocked minibar fridge and kettle. Great atmosphere and very helpful front desk staff. Decor artistic, romantic and funky. Amazingly tiny lift, but enough for one person and a suitcase. Quiet cul-de-sac in residential area off nice market street and walking distance to Sacre Coeur.”

“Got a last minute deal and it was great. We had a balcony towards the street. There was a separate dressing room apart from a spacious bedroom and big bathroom. Staff was great in answering queries. Breakfast is good at 10 Euros - loved the freshly made croissant. The lift of course is crampy, accomodating 2 people at max but its not that big an issue. They are managing the property in a great manner. You have to explore a bit but there are restaurants nearby. Montmartre is 20-25 mins by walk. We went there an early morning and it had a lovely view of the city.”

“Great setting, wonderful ambiance, historic building, superfriendly staff. The children said it was like being in Harry Potter, which, of course is exaggerated but demonstrates the great effect on bigger kids. For children it is a great experience to be in a historical building in the midst of Paris. There is a very old elevator and every time excited laughter. Very quite though in the center, many small shops and restaurants in the neighborhood, not too touristy, Paris at its best. Very good for families with bigger kids.”
