“Nice hotel with a very good location. It is close to many attractions, so you can reach them walking. We used taxis, which the administrators called for us and it was really cheap. A metro station is nearby. Around the hotel there were many shops, restaurants and Cafes, including McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Starbucks, Costa Coffee etc. We usually bought breakfast from the Chinese bakery on the same street and they had delicious food. The room was quiet, clean and there was kettle for tea. The restaurant had good food, but overpriced. The staff spoke some English /one girl spoke it really good/ so there wasn't problem with the language and they were really helpful. We could use 2 additional hours before leaving and could leave our baggage as our flight was very late at night. At the end we were very pleased with pentahotel Beijing and would stay there next time in the city.”

“Great location. The Beijing subway is excellent and will take you anywhere, but it's actually possible to walk to several of the main sights from the hotel. Nice bar downstairs. Comfortable room and comfortable bed. Attentive cleaners. I was sick and stayed in the room one day. They called to make sure I didn't need the room cleaning that day, and then the next day came in and cleaned when I made it out for a couple of hours.”

“The Penta was an absolute amazing hotel! I was fortunate to have stayed with the Penta before in Reading, England which is a really nice hotel. I booked the Penta in Beijing, and I am sure glad that I did. I was there for 8 days! The Breakfast! Oh the breakfast is amazing! They have both western and traditional Chinese breakfast. The vending machine is always stocked with the best Yanjing and mineral water! The location, right at the Chongwenmen Subway station couldnt have been better! I was very impressed with the room, very clean, modern and up to date. The television was awesome, and the wifi was great! As an American very used to the Western comforts, the Penta in Beijing was able to meet and exceed every need! I encourage you to stay here. You will not regret it! The price is right and every thing else is perfect!”
