“We were expecting a pretty basic pub b&b to be honest, but The Resolution Hotel is much more than that. We had only booked a small standard room on the first floor, we were allocated 106, which was huge! The room has two large windows and used to be the function room before being converted to bedrooms. Everything was clean, the bedding and towels were good quality, plus the wifi worked brilliantly. There were little extras provided such as a kettle with tea & coffee, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, a fleecy blanket and a hairdryer. The staff were friendly and the full English breakfast was nicely presented and delicious. I also liked the suitcase theme for reception and sofas within the hotel. Pay and display parking was easy to find and just around the corner.”
