What guests loved the most

“Nice hotel with a grand entrance and a beautiful view of the Lake Toya. We love the spacious room (Western-Japanese style) with the lake view. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel provides good spread of breakfast and dinner but the quality of the food can be improved, the food looks presentable but not tasty. However, I must say that it was an excellent dinning experience - breakfast/dine with a view - because its full height glass, unblock view of the beautiful Lake Toya.”

, Singapore

“The staff were very helpful and attentive (particularly those serving in the restaurant area). Breakfast and dinner was exceptional with a huge variety of choice. The onsen was fantastic with a range of pools (gender separated and switched overnight) outside on top of the hotel overlooking the lake, and inside top floor overlooking the lake. Room was comfortable with great views of the lake too.”

, United Kingdom

“Excellent hotel and onsen. Room was specious and bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast and dinner was very good as well with a good selection of dishes.”

, United Kingdom

“The rooftop onsen has a fantastic view. The resort was clean, modern, and beautifully furnished. The view from the rooms prove to be very photogenic. Dinner buffet has a good choice of variety and is very tasty. Onsens are very well maintained. It was a fantastic stay. Price is abit on the higher side though.”

, United Kingdom

“View is ok. Staff are very friendly, most of them are so nice and so polite. Shuttle bus from hotel to Sappro is free, but only one time a day. Shuttle bus from airport to hotel cost 1000yen per person. Room is clean and has hot spring suits, japanese traditional clothes. ”

, China

“The hotel is the best. I went there with my parents, they were really liked it. Everything was good, location, breakfast, dinner, onsen and etc.”

, South Korea

“Love everything about this hotel. Very nice view, very comfortable and huge room, excellent service from the staff, the buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious with huge variety, and very good view of Toyako from the onsen. It was an enjoyable and relaxing stay. ”

, Singapore

“Almost everything. The scene outside of the window, the facilities, the buffet and the staff. Everything is perfect. They also provide free shuttle bus from and to JR Sapporo Station.”

, USA

“Breakfast is excellent. The bed is very comfortable.”

, Hong Kong

“Amazing views through our floor to ceiling windows which stretched across the width of the room, across Lake Toya with Mount Yotie in dominating the background. Beautiful views to wake up with! The bedroom was comfortable and contemporary. While I am not a fan of buffets, the selection of food on offer was very good and to a high standard, with lots of different tastes to explore. The free fireworks display was a nice highlight of the evening, especially watching it from our bedroom in our yukatas with a glass of beer! The onsen had a nice selection of baths and the rooftop bath was hugely relaxing. I returned late in the night and had it all to myself! It was great to wallow in the hot water with the silhouette of Mount Yotei in the night sky.”
