“The hotel is a lovely old coaching inn, run by owners Pat & Jeff who were friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Staff were universally friendly and efficient. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable. The en suite was good with a decent shower. The bar was a pleasant place to be, with a good choice of beers, quiet for the most part, but the open mic night on the Wednesday evening was really good, with some excellent local musicians and singers. The menu had good variety, just what we'd expect for an inn, and the food was fresh and very tasty. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order, and would put most other larger hotels to shame. Large car park. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.”
