“Nice, old building, a bit odd, but charming. We were the only ones staying, but our key was prepared at the reception with a phone number to call. Good breakfast. Nice neighborhood.”
“The room was very nice bed was really comfortable owners very helpful”
“Delightful hotel in a converted early 20th. Century department store - with original 1913 lift still intact. Lovely conversion with quality fittings etc. The rooms were large and the beds - we had two double beds in our room - were the most comfortable we had experienced. The River Mississippi was a short walk and the small town - which had seen better days - seemed to be regenerating itself. Restaurants and bars had appeared and there were some small shops. Oak Alley and the wonderful plantation houses were within easy reach and this is an excellent location for visits. A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Breakfast was buffet style and self-service but the quality of the food was very high. The owners are really working hard here.”
“Owners were extremely hospitable and accommodating. Bed super comfy - beautiful room and a great bar downstairs. They had the best continental breakfast I have had in years (including Europe). We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back - if you are in this area, this is a great value!”
