“The atmosphere is serene and calming with soothing music in the common areas, great after a long plane ride. The location is convenient, just a few minutes walk to the subway. The breakfast was delicious... lots of choices and great coffee. I was able to buy a China Unicom SIM card for my iphone at the hotel and the woman at the front desk set up my phone for me.”

“This hotel is situated in a narrow and quiet street with a Family Mart just next to it which makes it very practical if you need anything or even want to eat "quickly". It is also near the metro station Xianamen which gives access to the whole rest of the Chengdu's network and downtown. It is 15 minutes walk to Sichuan University. The rooms are very confortable and some of the staff can speak a little English. Otherwise the staff uses language Apps on their phone in order to communicate. This hotel is really ZEN. I felt very safe and good during the ten days I stayed there and I highly recommend it!”

“We traveled to Chengdu from Xi'an by hard seat train (17+ hours :o). We were glad that Hotel Zen is 3 min walk from one of Metro station (Line 3). Good value for money, nice climate recalling some Japanese memories. Classic breakfast and unlimited water to grab at the reception, all in all good place to stay at Chengdu (recommend to try the restaurant on the corner close to the hotel and famous sichuan hotpot! - pic attached)”
