“Incredibly handy for the railway station and lots of other facilities. Room was newly refitted, bed very comfy if tightly squeezed in. Bathroom smart. Despite it being quite a busy bar on a main road, location was quiet. Breakfast good. Nice staff, great value for money. Would definitely stay again.”
“Easy to find the hotel although to find the parking area was more complicated..this could be shown better on the site or via initial communications. Staff very friendly, helpful and pleasant Very clean in spite of on-going refurbishments busy and lively pub atmosphere but surprisingly very quiet in hotel bedroom .. a plus point breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious .. sausages bacon and black pudding were nice quality and poached eggs cooked perfectly. no feeling of having to rush to leave also a good looking menu for evening food (although we ate at a local curry house) .. hotel is in a central town position so easy to find restaurants .. shops etc Our bedroom was very clean and looked as though it had just been redecorated. lovely design work and an amazingly comfortable bed. Also nice big TV .. coffee/tea etc enough storage.. iron etc hairdryer ... all good”

“Good, clean place in a convenient location north of Leicester. Melton Mowbray is a lovely stopover for long dull business trips, perfect for evening strolls and with plenty of restaurants around. Private parking in the back of the hotel, nice pub and restaurant downstairs.”
