What guests loved the most

“Best place to stay at night if you don't like big cities, but looking for a good place to see a sea coast. I was welcomed by excellent and polite staff. They have provided a spacey room with own rolling armchair (I just like those things.), TV set, individual English sink and good view from room. About breakfast I can only say "great cooked and served".”

“This is a small family-run hotel which means that they are flexible in meeting guests' requests. Breakfast was basically whatever you wanted at a time to suit you. The room was large, bright and comfy.”

“Traditional small town hotel . Very warm and welcoming staff & local residents we met in the bar.”

, United Kingdom

“My room was two floors up from the bar, so there was no noise, and even though the crown is on a main road, there was no discernible traffic noise from it during the night. The bed was spacious, as was the room, and everything in it worked well. I left with a full flask, food for breakfast in my bag, refreshed and ready to go.”

“This place is fantastic. It's an old pub. Comfortable and warm in a great old town. I stayed in the cheapest twin single room, got in quite late and the bar (several floors below was still going). The owner knew his scotch. The locals full of stories. The wifi was pretty solid, though it doesn't go through old stone walls (typical of the region). The bed was comfy and shared bathroom was no hassle at all. Cheap as chips and super comfortable with a great cooked breakfast! "If I can cook it, you can have it" :)”

, Australia

“Friendliness, large room, convenience for my purpose.”
