“The warm welkome. I could check in early before 1 pm. The food was delicious as the Breakfast was. And the staff was very hospitable. The room and bathroom very good. Even when it was in an annex building.”
“We arrived at 5.15 when the bar was empty but we noticed lots of tables already reserved for dinner. We reserved for 6 o’clock. The pub does a roaring food trade. Staff were very pleasant and we had a lovely relaxed meal. The rooms are close to the pub but quiet. Breakfast was really lovely.”
“From when we checked in to departure the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate and perfect for me, my mum and teenage daughter. We had to have an early checkout and there was no problem with pre-booking out breakfast the night before.”

“Good location. Lovely room, comfy bed and easy to use shower. Plenty of choice for breakfast and my husband really enjoyed his 'full english'. Lovely atmosphere in the bar in the evening and we thoroughly enjoyed dining there both nights of our stay, couldn't fault the food - excellent chef.”

“A modern, good sized room with comfortable beds and a well appointed en suite shower room. Very nice that the rooms are out of the pub itself as they are outbuildings. No problem for meals as the pub is only across the car park!”
