“We loved our stay at Sofitel Kunming. The main reason we booked this was because of the huge breakfast incl. a cheese room, this is something which is very difficult to find in China. And we were not dissapointed. The choice of the breakfast buffet is amazing, from freshly pressed juice to chinese dishes, you can find everything. Make sure to take the time to enjoy this. Unlike other hotels, it does make real sense to book a room with club access (like executive floor), as the offer here is really good and the staff is great and really takes care. In general the staff is very friendly in the whole Hotel, from a welcoming smile when you hop off the taxi to the last goodbye when you leave again. We can only recommend to stay here while visiting Kunming. To consider one more day just to enjoy the amenities of Sofitel Kunming was the best idea. Thanks to the Team and special thanks to Mo who made our stay even more enjoyable.”

“The concierge staff are excellent. They identified themselves personally and made sure we were comfortable. my son has a severe peanut allergy and they made sure I met the chef, had excellent meals in the buffet and also excellent meals via room service. the gym and pool are phenomenal. I love everything about this place and recommend it highly to anyone going to kunming”
