“My husband and I spent an absolutely wonderful weekend at Simonsbath House Hotel. We chose this hotel for the location - in the middle of beautiful green hills and very remote - but were happy to find that the hotel itself, the food and staff were excellent. The room had every amenity we could need including kettle and hot drinks; en suite with spacious bath and a beautifully comfortable bed, not to mention the view! Although we thought we would take the car off to have dinner in some little village, we took all of our meals at the hotel as they were well-portioned and delicious. £25 for three courses or £21 for two. Breakfast was also a large selection of hot and cold with table service. Good food to prepare for long country walks! Finally, for the evening, we enjoyed the well stocked bar and a selection of board games. All in all, a perfect retreat.”
